About Rhinoplasty Surgery
The nose occupies the most prominent part of the face. As such it significantly impacts on how others perceive us, and on how we perceive ourselves. The nose is also a very complex structure. This is because it is made up of many components that are interconnected, and these, individually and together impact on how the nose looks and functions.
These aspects can be can be affected in a number of ways; by injury, ageing, disease and inherited traits. When these issues are taken into account, it is possible to appreciate the complexity of rhinoplasty surgery.
Good rhinoplasty surgery doesn’t just aim to improve all of these aspects in the present, but also to maintain that benefit in the future, taking account of the changes that affect us all with ageing and healing. This makes Rhinoplasty the most complex and challenging type of surgery.
